October Update

Sorry for the late update this month. I’ve been mostly preoccupied with getting the last iteration of Chapter 12 out of the gate. I’m at roughly 60 000 words now, and it’ll probably be another 10 000 or so before I’m “done” – which is to say, before it’s playable, though not necessarily complete.

In other new, this month’s A Creator’s Guide to Writing and Worldbuilding, A Soldier’s Guide to the Infinite Sea, and An Adventurer’s Guide to the Fledgling Realms, are now all up.

Very excited, thank you for the updates each month! And you are totally not late, we appreciate your work and do it at your own pace!

I assume there will be some balancing work? If so, might wanna consider making some sort of a feedback request, so people can tell their impressions.

I wonder how you are going to handle the conflict between the royalists and the wolframites. It makes me think of the witcher 2 where the separate plotlines converge in order to deal with greater problems/plot events. Surely one side has to lose. My guess is that the Tarkarans or the Kian show up and it doesn’t matter who you side with. Hopefully I am wrong cause that seems too predictable and trope-y.

I also think about the larger context and ask myself that. I think with Takaran’s guns and Kian’s loans they’re all involved and I don’t know Paul’s vision, but I see another big war ahead.

I hope you can complete itu in the end of the year

I really admire the work and know how detailed and immersive it is, so I understand the natural deadline. But, on the other hand, I count the days to see the result and to know where everything fits, it’s fascinating. Congratulations today and always for your dedication.

I am impatient, but the updates each month allow me to look forward to the final result with the certainty of it being a great work so thank you for that 😀
