August Update

Another busy month this time around. I’ve been working on addressing feedback for Lords of Infinity, and balancing the difficulty of the myriad subplots and story paths (there are, needless to say, a lot of them). Hopefully, once I’m finished this current raft of feedback requests, I can submit for copyediting.

Of course, that doesn’t mean my job is done. After that, I still have to do art and give the publisher enough material to do marketing support. I’m working on that as well. Hopefully, I’ll be able to show you some of the cover art I’ve been working on next month too.

There’s also another project in the pipeline, one I can’t quite talk about yet. It might be a few months before I can announce it, but needless to say, I’m very excited for it.

As usual, this month’s installments of A Creator’s Guide to Writing and Worldbuilding, A Soldier’s Guide to the Infinite Sea, and An Adventurer’s Guide to the Fledgling Realms, are all up.

Hey Paul. As a fan, I appreciate all the work that you’ve done with the infinity series, wish more writers are as meticulous as you. Very excited for LoI.

P.S. Are you planning on writing a novel based on this series?

Well, you are painfully right. In January Update Paul said :
“I am happy to note that the main plotline of Lords of Infinity is now complete. Clocking in at about 1.3 million words, it is quite literally the biggest and most ambitious thing I’ve ever written by a massive margin.”
I think next book is going to be over 10 million word!
And remember that there is a fifth book too. O____o

Either it’ll take quite a few years of writing once again, or he’ll find a way to narrow the scope of the project for the sake of preserving the content bloat or his sanity.

Could you please allow the testing options in the final release and also allow the ability to select multiple or all options. I think it would be like a in-built cheat option for casual fun like in Jolly Good: Cakes and Ale or War for the West.

Hi Paul, I sent you a few comments via your web contact form a few months back. It sounds like you’re wrapping things up but were there any other items that you were hoping for additional feedback on? I’m happy to fire up the demo again and take a gander. Congrats on being so close.

Hey Catta, you should use Sangiin’s arts (from the fanwork thread in the forum) for headcanon for characters. They works really well with the story! Hopefully, as part of Fans’ appreciation.
