June Update

It’s been an eventful month this time around. I’ve been spending a lot of time settling into my new computer, and moving over all the tools which I need for my workflow. That’s part of the reason why this month’s Patreon articles are a bit late. Don’t worry. The process is just about finished and we’ll be back on schedule for next month.

In the meantime, this month’s Soldier’s Guide to the Infinite Sea, Adventurer’s Guide to the Fledgling Realms and Creator’s Guide to Writing and Worldbuilding are all up.

When you first started working on Lords I remember asking you if you planned on creating a “cannon” timeline as the players influence on the story becomes more and more critical. At the time you said that you would continue to do your best to balance giving players control while also not making those choices so radically different from one-another that one choice would have to supersede the other. However after reading Lords I have to wonder is such a balance possible anymore and what are your current thoughts on a cannon timeline? For instense, if we ever get an in universe account of Wulframs Gamble at the end of Lords, it feels like said account would have to mention whether Wulfram was aided by a cirtain Dragoon officer, or discuss the actions taken by said Dragoon officer during the Wulframite withdrawl. So what are your current thoughts on a cannon timeline for TDS?

At any rate, love your work and I’m glad for that you’ve gotten a new computer.

When are you gonna start writing Wars of Infinity?

He won’t be writing Wars of Infinity as his next project. So a little wait on that.

Fantastic work on Lords, I’ve been enjoying the hell out of replaying it since I picked it up last week.

I did find the tiniest of (rather funny) bugs. On importing a character who got their senior NCO killed at Januszkovil, the regimental Color Sergeant seems to be named “None”.

Quite looking forward to what you put out next.
