Step into the shoes of an elegantly dressed Edwardian gentleman-scientist in Aetherpunk. Woken up by the sounds of a surprise alien invasion, the player character retreats to his fortified tool shed and the well-stocked laboratory within. Outnumbered and outgunned, the player must harness Luminiferous Aether – the strange fifth state of matter which powers the aliens’ machinery – and use it to fashion weapons and gadgets to turn back the alien invaders and most importantly, survive.
